Education
Jarod Bleibdrey is an Alumni of Coastal Bend College where
he completed an A.A.S. in Law Enforcement with Enhanced Mastery Certifications
in Crime Scene Investigation and Correctional Science. He obtained his B.A. in
Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University out of Iowa, and a Master’s
of Science from St. Joseph’s University out of Philadelphia PA. Jarod also
completed a graduate certification from American Public University out of West
Virginia, in Ancient and Classical Civilizations.
Experience
Jarod is retired from the Texas Department of Criminal
Justice, where he worked as a Correctional Officer/Sergeant of Correctional
Officers for ten years. During his time for the prison system, Jarod worked at
a maximum/medium and minimum security level institutions. Job placements
included Administrative Segregation, Close Custody, Security Threat Groups,
Intake, Field Force Operations, Armory Operations and other special
assignments. After retiring from the prison system, Jarod worked for A.C. Jones
High School as a social studies teacher for two years.
Hobbies
Jarod is an avid soccer enthusiast, as he is an assistant
coach for the Coastal Bend Soccer Team. He is the advisor for the Coastal Bend
Paintball Club and the Law Enforcement Club.
