New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new student orientation for all new students at CBC. Cougar Day is designed to orient new students to the College and give them the support they need to succeed here.
On Cougar Day, students will have the opportunity to learn more about CBC, including key services, resources, student activities and more. They will have the opportunity to meet some of your new friends and take part in informational sessions to help them better transition into college life.
NOTE: Prior to attending Cougar Day, all new students must complete our online New Student Orientation (NSO) module. This will ensure that everyone arrives at the event with the same basic foundation of knowledge. Once you have completed the NSO online module, bring your certificate of completion with you when you arrive for Cougar Day. Once you have certified that you have completed the NSO online module, you will receive your Cougar Day t-shirt.

Cougar Day Checklist
- All new student under the age of 22 are required to submit evidence of receiving the bacterial meningitis vaccination (administered within the past 5 years) before they can enroll in in-person classes or live on-campus. Students will not be allowed to register without providing proof of the vaccination or exemption. Please bring documentation with you or upload it prior to your chosen Cougar Day.
