• Juanita Dominguez, Coordinator of Professional Services, and Professor in the Business Technology Department at Coastal Bend College (CBC) earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Training and Development from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.  She also earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in General Business from Bee County College; and a Clerk-Typist Certificate from Bee County College. She is a member of Texas Community College Teachers Association (TCCTA) and certified through the Title V Distance Learning Academies for distance and Internet course delivery.  She also received a prestige’s award from CBC as “Friend of Technology.”   

    Dominguez has been employed by Coastal Bend College since 1985 and has held several positions.  Her positions include: Clerk/Secretary for the Nursing Department at the Alice site; Secretary for the Director at the Alice site; Part-time Word Processing Instructor/Lab Assistant; Professor, Business Technology at the Alice and Kingsville sites; Coordinator for Public Service; and Current-Coordinator for Professional Services. During her tenure at CBC, Dominguez has had the wonderful opportunity of working with students and assist them in earning certificates and Associates of Applied Science degrees in office specialization fields.

    She and her husband of 31 years and their three children are active in their church and are very active parents with their children’s school activities. She and her family enjoy spending family time together.  They enjoy their weekends by going to different parts of south Texas in their RV and fishing.
