 The Simon Michael Art Gallery was dedicated in 1982 in honor of Simon Michael, a South Texas artist and retired art instructor of CBC, the gallery is in the Frank Jostes Visual Arts Building. The Simon Michael Art Gallery provides opportunities for students and the community to view the work of professional and student artists.    

The Simon Michael Gallery at Coastal Bend College reviews material for consideration for exhibitions. We ask the sender to include Cover Letter, Artist Statement, Resume, Proposal, Slides on CD or DVD. We review material once a semester. We will notify sender of our decisions by May of each year.
