Dental Hygiene Clinic 

The Coastal Bend Dental Hygiene Clinic can provide your dental care needs.  Under the supervision of a licensed dentist and dental hygiene instructors, our student clinicians perform a number of dental care services similar to those offered at private dental offices.  Depending on the types of procedures required, completion can require more than one visit.  We can also provide your dental records, such as x-rays, to you or your personal dentist via email or paper copies.      

Services include dental prophylaxis (dental cleaning), periodontal exam, full mouth x-rays, panoramic x-rays, oral cancer screening, blood pressure screening, sealants, oral hygiene instruction, fluoride treatment, and nutritional counseling. 

We offer patients the ability to complete paperwork electronically through either text or email.  If you prefer to prepare the paperwork manually and would like to complete it before your appointment, please click on the links below, print and complete all four of the forms and bring them with you.  Otherwise, the forms can be completed during your first appointment of each semester.       

The Dental Hygiene Clinic offers these services during the Fall and Spring semesters only.    

Please make every effort to keep scheduled appointments.  Students are required to fulfill a certain number of hours of instruction in the Dental Hygiene Clinic and missed or broken appointments could affect a student's ability to complete semester requirements.
