    I have not attended classes at CBC for a year or more. Do I need to reapply?
    Yes. Please complete the application for admissions online at www.applytexas.org

    I am a current CBC student. Do I need to submit proof of bacterial meningitis?
    If you have been continuously enrolled at CBC since the Fall 2011 semester (you have not taken a break in a Fall/Spring semester) you do not need to submit proof. For more information about the bacterial meningitis requirement please visit www.coastalbend.edu/bacterial_meningitis.

    What is Cougar Den? How do I log on?
    Cougar Den is CBC's online student information system. You can log on and view grades, print an unofficial transcript, register for classes, pay tuition and fees and more. Click here to go to Cougar Den.

    To determine your username for Cougar Den, try these steps in the order presented until you successfully login:
    Step 1: use your first initial last name (for example: jdoe)
    Step 2: use your first initial, middle initial, last name-If you do not have a middle initial, proceed to step 3 (for example: jadoe)
    Step 3: use your first initial, middle initial (omit if none), last name followed by the number 1 (for example, jdoe1)-If unsuccessful with the number 1, try 2, then 3, then 4, etc.).

    Your password is your new CBC ID number-the ID number is automatically assigned by the Colleague System can be found on Student's Admissions Acceptance Letter received via email.

    Alternatively, you can always contact the help desk via email to helpdesk@coastalbend.edu or by phone to 866-722-2838 ext. 2508 or 3005 to obtain your username and password if needed.  You can also visit the Student Success Center or the Cougar Center your site.

    What is FAFSA?
    FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and provides the student applying with an estimate of what type of aid a student is eligible for.

    Can I make payment arrangements for my classes?
    Payment arrangements are available online through Cougar Den and by calling the Business office toll free at 1-866-722-2838 extension 2213.

    How do I request an official transcript?
    A transcript request must be sent to CBC's Admissions/Registrar Office for processing. Transcript request forms can be picked up and completed at the Admissions Office (Beeville Site) or at your local Student Services and Advising Office (All sites). You can also download the form online, complete it and fax it in to the Admission/Registrar Office. Click here to request a transcript.

    How do I apply for graduation?
    Please visit www.coastalbend.edu/graduation to view graduation requirements and the application. Please be advised that your degree plan must be reviewed and signed by a CBC Advisor. 

    What is a degree plan?
    This is a plan with a list of courses required for completion of a level one (1) or level two (2) certificate and/or an Associates degree (Workforce or Academic). Click here to view CBC's 2019-2020 Catalog of Degree Plans.

    How do I buy my books?
    To purchase textbooks you can:

    stop by your local CBC Bookstore for additional assistance with the ordering process.

    I am having trouble logging into my Blackboard Account... What do I do?
    Visit with a Academic Success Coach/Recruiter to ensure your are enrolled in the course. 

    If you are not enrolled, the Academic Success Coach/Recruiter will instruct you on what to do next.
