• Lupita was born and raised in Beeville and as a former community college student at CBC she became interested to teach young adults Accounting which is the field she has worked in 20 plus years combined among other jobs she has done and venturing out in owning her own business as well in 2001.  

    Lupita being the first person in her family to graduate from high school took two classes in 1983 for self enrichment purposes not knowing then she would have a school career. In 1994 she returned back to school.  She decided she wanted to get into the computer field and obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Business Data Processing in 1997. When she experienced her first accounting class she realized that her strengths were working with numbers. She became passionate about working with numbers that she pursued a second Associate of Applied Science in Accounting in 1997. 

    Due to various job lay-offs she experienced she decided to return back to school and pursue her BBA in Accounting. In 2010 she obtained a third degree an Associate of Science in Business Administration at CBC. Then she transferred to Texas A&M University Corpus where she obtained the Bachelor of Business Administration emphasis in Accounting in 2012. 

    She attributes her college success mainly to the support of her family. Her wonderful and loving husband of 38 years Mateo Ramirez whom has been her inspiration for her success. Lupita & Mateo have one son Mateo Jr. and wife Angela. She is elated with her two granddaughters Ava Rose & Ashlee Elena who are the apple of her eye. She enjoys spending time with her family in church and traveling.
