• Mrs. Griffin has been with Coastal Bend College for sixteen years. She began her career at CBC as a part-time clinical instructor in 1998.  It is this experience that encouraged her to pursue a higher education.  In 2001, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Training and Development from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi, Texas. She continued her education at the university, graduating in 2003 with a Master of Science in Counseling.

    In 2003, Mrs. Griffin became a full-time dental hygiene faculty member and has had the pleasure of teaching various courses. Among her favorites are, Preclinical Dental Hygiene, Clinical Dental Hygiene, Community Dentistry and Periodontology.  The opportunity to serve as a Student American Dental Hygiene Association sponsor has also enhanced her educational career.  During her tenure at Coastal Bend College, she has been recognized as a member of Who's Who among Educators and has presented courses for the Guadalupe Valley District Dental Society.

    Altogether, Mrs. Griffin has been a dental hygienist for 28 years, receiving an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 1986 from Bee County College, Beeville, Texas.  As an alumna of the college, she fully recognizes the value of education at the community college level and is dedicated to those who pursuing such.
