KINESIOLOGY & HEALTH SCIENCE
The Coastal Bend College Kinesiology Division offers a wide array of
Kinesiology courses for degree completion, transfer credit, and personal
interest. Whether you desire to become a physical educator,
personal trainer, coach or to complete specific degree requirements, you will
find what you are looking for in the CBC Kinesiology Division. Courses
offered include one (1) hour activity courses which are sport specific or
oriented toward fitness and wellness as well as three (3) hour courses required
for transfer to a post-secondary institution as an elective or if majoring in
the Kinesiology field. Continuing education courses are also offered in
these areas as well. The activity courses are designed to improve
sports-related skills and health-related skills. Our instructors enjoy teaching
and helping both traditional and non-traditional students. Our goal is to
encourage our students to develop an appreciation of a healthy lifestyle.
