Biography

Keenan Woods is currently serving as the Site Director for the Coastal Bend College – Kingsville Center. He oversees day to day operations and ensures that faculty and staff are adhering to all institutional related policies, processes, and procedures. His primary function is to serve as a direct line of communication and representation for Coastal Bend College in the Kingsville community and surrounding areas. In addition, Keenan collaborates with the various departments from the main campus to make sure those areas are operating effectively and efficiently in the Kingsville Center.  

Keenan has 11 years of experience in higher education specifically working in areas of student affairs, federally funded programs, along with research and graduate studies. Prior to coming aboard at CBC, Mr. Woods previously worked for Texas A&M University-Kingsville in the Office of Student Success as the Executive Director of the GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) Grant. Additionally, Mr. Woods worked in the University Housing & Residence Life division which galvanized his interest and desire to help assist with their pursuit of success.
