• Ms. Presley joined the faculty of Coastal Bend College in 2015, first as an adjunct instructor in the Vocational Nursing Program then full-time in the Professional Nursing Program.  Her background in nursing began after obtaining an associate degree in nursing from Del Mar College in 1998.  Her career in nursing includes medical/surgical nursing, urology, gynecology, and pediatric in the acute care setting.  She went on to work in home health, hospice, and long-term care.

    While continuing her nursing career, Ms. Presley pursued her nursing education.  She began her undergraduate work in an RN-MSN program in Leadership through Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, TX and completed the program in August of 2014.  Her goal in education was to become a nurse educator to mentor and guide students in the profession of nursing.  Upon joining the nursing faculty at Coastal Bend College, Ms. Presley realized she wanted to improve her ability to facilitate learning in the community college setting and obtained a Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education in May of 2017.  She is committed to the role of life-long learning in nursing and has begun work in a Doctor of Nursing Practice program through Walden University.
