• Steps to Apply for Financial Aid
     
        

     
    • Complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.fafsa.gov. 

    For the 2018-2019 academic year, You will need:

         a.  2016 Income Tax Returns and W-2's (if under the age of 24, not married, and not monetarily
              supporting a child over 50%, you will also have to use parent(s) tax information).


         b.  Parent(s) social security numbers, date of birth, marital status, and date of marital status.

         c.  Use CBC's federal code of 003546 to ensure we receive your application.

    NOTE: For the 2017-2018 academic year:  *NEW* You will only be able to use 2015 Income Tax returns and W-2's (if under the age of 24, not married, and not monetarily supporting a child over 50%, you will also have to use user parent(s) tax information)
     
     
    • The Financial Aid Office will receive the information from the Department of Education within 3-5 business days after you submit your FAFSA.   
    • The Financial Aid Office will then send out a packet of paperwork to the mailing address reported on your FAFSA.  
    • Complete the paperwork and return it along with any documentation requested by our office. Financial aid will not be awarded until all documents are received and complete.   
          

    Please check campus connect for your status or award amount. Students who are not eligible for financial aid will be notified via email.
