Biography
Trey W Fricks holds a Master’s Degree in Communication from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. Mr. Fricks started his career in the U.S. Air Force. He left there to work in the airline industry. Mr. Fricks retired from Southwest Airlines in 2014, finished his undergraduate degree in 2015, and his Master’s Degree in 2018. Mr. Fricks is currently enrolled in the MBA program at TAMUCC.
Mr. Fricks is a full-time faculty professor of Speech and Communication for Coastal Bend College at the Beeville campus and currently teaches Speech 1311, 1315, and 1321. Before coming to Coastal Bend College, he taught as a teaching assistant at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi for 2 years.
Mr. Fricks is originally from Bayside, Texas where he has served as a city councilman for four years. He is married to Michelle and together they have six daughters and one son. Their favorite thing to do as a family is to travel.
