• Mr. Suarez previously worked under Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at South Texas College. His career in higher education has been characterized by a commitment to diversity and teamwork, with a focus in assessment and opportunity seeking to ensure student success. Equally, Mr. Suarez’s personal life experiences as a migrant farm worker have allowed him to effectively connect with students from all walks of life”, of which continues to drive his passion for helping students navigate through the challenges of higher education.  

    Mr. Suarez served as an adjunct College Success instructor under the Department of Education with South Texas College, which has familiarized him with developing, implementing and assessing institutional learning outcomes to ensure student success.  

    Mr. Suarez received his undergraduate degree in business management, magna cum laude, from the University of Texas Pan American and his Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Currently, Mr. Suarez is pursuing a Doctorate in Public Policy and Administration from West Chester University. Respectively, his dissertation, titled A Study of Policy Influences on Dual Credit Programs aims to analyze the current institutional policy frameworks and strategies that support the successful matriculation of dual credit students into higher education.  

    Mr. Suarez is a proud member of Pi Alpha Alpha- Honor Society for Public Administration, and Beta Gamma Sigma- Honor Society for Business.
