Cosmetology

Students will engage in courses covering Orientation, Fundamentals, Artistry of Hair, Hair Color Theory and Chemistry, Chemical Reformation, Nail Technology, Skin/Facial Theory, Barber Styling, and Preparation for the State Licensing Examination. You will receive a thorough overview of the essential skills required in cosmetology, including safety and sanitation, service preparation, nail care, skin care, chemical services, shampooing, haircuts, wet styling, and comb-out techniques. 

Our curriculum also introduces students to the theory and chemistry of hair color, the principles of nail technology, and the anatomy and physiology related to cosmetology. Critical thinking and empirical skills are emphasized, preparing you to tackle challenges in the rapidly growing, high-tech sector of the beauty industry. This profession offers diverse career pathways, allowing you to apply your social and personal responsibility ideals in a profession with unlimited advancement potential. 

Our program is designed to develop your skills to pass the State Board Exam, ensuring you are well-prepared to meet industry standards. Students will also gain professional ethics, goal-setting abilities, salon operations knowledge, and record-keeping skills. You'll learn to identify fundamental concepts and demonstrate required skills as per TDLR standards. 

Graduates of our program are prepared to enter various cosmetology careers, including barber styling, esthetics, nail technology, and salon management. Our comprehensive training ensures you are ready for the licensing examination and a successful career in cosmetology.
