Admissions Requirements by Student Type
First-Time in College Students
Students who are new to college, including those who previously took dual credit courses.

  1. Complete your online ApplyTexas application.
  2. Apply for Financial Aid.
  3. Submit official high school transcript, notarized home school transcript, or GED certificate.
  4. Submit TSI scores or proof of exemption.
  5. Submit Bacterial Meningitis Immunization record.
Dual Credit Students
Students who are currently attending a public high school:
  1. Complete your online ApplyTexas application.
  2. Submit official high school transcript.
  3. Submit TSI scores - TSI Release Form.
  4. Submit Bacterial Meningitis Immunization record.
  5. Pay for courses.
  6. Purchase text books.
  7. Submit orientation.
Students who are currently attending home school or a private high school:
  1. Complete your online ApplyTexas application.
  2. Submit official high school transcript.
  3. Submit TSI scores - TSI Release Form.
  4. Submit Bacterial Meningitis Immunization record.
  5. Pay for courses.
  6. Purchase text books.
  7. Submit orientation.
Transfer Students
Students who previously attended another institution but now wish to attend CBC.
  1. Complete your online ApplyTexas application.
  2. Submit official transcripts from any college(s) attended.
  3. Submit TSI scores or proof of exemption.
  4. Submit Bacterial Meningitis Immunization record.

Transient Students
Students who are enrolled at another institution but would like to take classes at CBC for a single semester and then return to their home institution.
  1. Complete your online ApplyTexas application.
  2. Submit official transcripts from any college(s) attended.
  3. Submit Bacterial Meningitis Immunization record.
Readmission Students
If you previously attended CBC, but have not attended in the last year, you must apply for readmission.
  1. Complete your online ApplyTexas application.
  2. Submit official transcripts from any college(s) attended, if applicable.
International
Students who are not U. S. citizens or eligible non-citizens.
  1. Complete your online ApplyTexas application.
  2. Submit International Packet.
