Work-Study
Coastal Bend College offers student employment through a program called work-study. The Federal and Texas Work-Study programs are employment opportunities given to students based on need. These programs allow the student to work on campus while attending Coastal Bend College.

How do I become a work-study?
Students must first complete the FAFSA and additional paperwork required by the CBC's Financial Aid Department. Students will sign up in the Financial Aid office if interested in work-study. Calls will be made the second week of school to perspective students to set up interviews with the Financial Aid Director. Students will meet with the director to discuss available employment and be sent to interview with offices.

• Great way to create work references

Who is eligible for work-study?
Students must have documented financial need based on their FAFSA, EFC, and awards. They must be enrolled in six hours per semester and be in good academic standing with the Financial Aid Office.
